This time of year all the cute dog costumes start showing up in stores, but what about the cats? Well, of course, not all cats are willing to tolerate a costume, but for those who do, here’s a round up of some fabulous Halloween fashion finds for the felines. Remember, these aren’t for kitty to wear for very long, but if you’re lucky you could get some great photos!

Bring out kitty’s inner lion with this adorable hand knit lion mane cat hat from Bitch Knits for $19. Handmade to order.

This handsome tabby seems to like (or at least tolerate) his Halloween pom pom beanie, crocheted from acrylic yarn with a little tie around the chin. $15 from I Heart Needlework. And check out this dapper dude sporting his orange Halloween bow tie with tiny spiders printed on the fabric and a little spider charm dangling from the tie. Simply attach the bow tie to kitty’s collar for an easy costume. $10.85 from Whiskers Boutique.

I think this is my favorite! It’s a mini witch hat for cats, complete with a little buckle detail! Stays in place (ha ha!) with an elastic strap around kitty’s chin. $30 from To Scarborough Fair.

Switch out your cat’s collar for Halloween season with this cute Helter Skelter orange and black plaid cat collar including a little silver bell. $14 from Made by Cleo.

Here’s another Halloween fashion statement for stylish cats — it’s the Pumpkin Party bow tie, smashing on black cats! $15 from Snoop Catty Cat. And for the more tolerant kitties, we’ve got a whole shark suit costume made from soft gray fleece. $30 from Simply Sphynx.

And finally, for the mellowest of cats, a clown hat with matching neck ruffle! Available in a variety of colors, made to order. $20 from Emerald Angel.

Again, costumes aren’t for every cat, so don’t be disappointed if your cat won’t cooperate.
